Structure and Body : Material, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration
In a group, by utilizing bamboo, were asked to design and construct a 1:1 structure for a resting action which will be placed in a real green space to be enjoyed by the people. We are required to understand the characteristics of the material and explore the construction details. We developed our design and integrate it with anthropometrics and ergonomics

REFLECTION
Project 2 gave me an understanding of dimensions in anthropometry and human ergonomics in space through real experience by building 1:1 structure in a group. With bamboo, I got the chance to actually feel and understand the characteristics of the material and explore the construction detail such as joints and joinery with other supporting material. With the help from Ms. Sue May, we we're able to get the final design after going through some group meetings.

Being part of the drawing team, I learned new things, especially how to draw an exploded axonometric drawing of a structure. It was very challenging for me because it was my first time drawing the exploded axonometric of our structure which has a very unsymmetrical shape.

In a group, it is very important to be present and contribute our skills to achieve the same goal as a team. Communication is very important to prevent misunderstandings between individuals and also helps to keep things running smoothly.
